Masi Agricola Bardolino

When you hear the name Masi Agricola Bardolino, you expect a very intense wine. However, Masi Agricola Bardolino is a mid weight red wine violet tinges. On the nose there are wild cherries with hints of strawberries and raspberries. Characteristically fresh on the palate with good acidity highlighted by youthful flavours of green pepper, sweet peppers and fresh tomato. Soft on the finish with ripe cherry flavours.
The Masi winery is one of the most important wineries in Valpolicella, Italy. The name Masi originates from “Vaio dei Masi " which is a small valley in the region. With 12 million bottles produced every year, it is one of the biggest in Valpolicella, however it remains a family company owned by Boscaini family. The Boscaini family bought this little valley at the end of the 18th century. Where till the day of today fine wines are produced and still run by father and daughter Boscaini.
